📰 Tropics: Ethan Benne’s 31 PPG is Fool’s Gold—Time to Deliver!
June 29, 2026
Let's be honest, the Titans are a team in freefall, and it’s time someone called them out. With a current record that barely qualifies as respectable, their performance is a flat-out embarrassment. They are hanging by a thread in the playoff picture while the rest of the league seems to be getting stronger by the week. Nobody wants to say it, but this is not the team that was supposed to contend for the top spot again. It’s time for the Titans to wake up or be prepared to watch the playoffs from the couch.
Makai Ortiz-Gray has been the lone bright spot, averaging 24.8 PPG over four games. But after a dazzling 33-point explosion against the Lanc Show, he needs help. Where’s the support from his teammates? Let’s be real—if Ortiz-Gray is the only one showing up, then what does that say about the so-called "stars" around him? Players like Jeffery Espinal or even the notorious slouch of the league, Charles Warren, need to step up or step aside. This team cannot hide anymore. It’s not just on Ortiz-Gray to carry this load; he’s a part of a collective effort that is currently non-existent.
And let’s talk about commitment. The Titans flaunt a roster full of names who have proven they can score, but when it comes down to crunch time, the only thing they seem to be scoring are excuses. The clock is ticking, and as June turns to July, the pressure is mounting. If they don’t straighten up now, they’ll be watching the playoffs from a barstool, second-guessing their decisions. The time for talk is over—the Titans need to step up or risk being remembered as the biggest flop of the season.
