π° Kobe Gantz is the league's next MVP and will carry the Bullies.
July 16, 2026
Letβs be real: Kobe Gantz is the only reason the Bullies aren't a laughingstock. With a league-leading 2.4 steals per game, Gantz is playing defense like his life depends on it while his teammates basically stand around as statues. You want a bold prediction? Gantz will finish this season with more total steals than the entire rosters of the bottom three teams combined. Nobody wants to say it, but while scorers like Ethan Benne are busy hunting highlights for their egos, Gantz is actually doing the gritty work that wins championships.
The Gremlins are in serious trouble and everyone knows it. Despite Charles Warren putting up 20.0 PPG, the team is a house of cards waiting to blow over. Compare that to the focus Gantz brings; Warren looks like heβs playing pickup at the park while Gantz is playing chess. Letβs be honest, Charles Warren has been a disappointment when the pressure mounts, and unless he finds a shred of the defensive tenacity Kobe displays, the Gremlins are an early exit in the playoffs.
This is embarrassing for the rest of the league. You have players like Makai Ortiz-Gray scoring 20.6 PPG but offering absolutely nothing on the defensive end. Itβs pathetic. Someone on that roster needs to step up or step aside because Iβm calling it now: Kobe Gantz is the most valuable two-way threat in the BAL right now, and by the time the final buzzer sounds, his defensive impact will outshine every hollow, high-scoring performance weβve seen all summer. Put your money on the thief, not the stat-padders.
