π° Jordan Tyson is a fraudulent stat-padder sabotaging the Cherrypickers from within
July 25, 2026
Nobody wants to say it, but letβs be real about the Cherrypickers: Jordan Tyson is the biggest fraud leading a statistical category in the BAL. Sure, the box score screams 2.7 steals per game, but if you actually watch the games, heβs just gambling on passing lanes and abandoning his defensive assignments. Heβs a glorified scavenger playing for highlight reels, not wins. Compare his empty 10.5 PPG and pathetic 3.0 rebounds to someone like Jared Kumah of the Bullies, who actually anchors a team with 12.3 boards. Tyson isnβt a defensive stalwart; heβs a liability.
The Cherrypickers are in serious trouble and everyone knows it. How can anyone justify Tysonβs hype when his teammate Justin Baker 2.0 is out there posting 19.6 PPG and 4.8 APG while actually contributing to the teamβs offensive engine? Tyson is riding the coattails of better players while hiding behind "steals" that don't translate to success. Itβs embarrassing to watch the rest of that roster carry the load while Tyson plays his own selfish brand of perimeter basketball.
This is a league of results, not participation trophies. If youβre going to be a specialist, be elite like Ty Burton, who is putting up a staggering 30.6 PPG, or Kobe Gantz, who is actually impactful with his 2.4 steals. Tysonβs numbers are a facade, a cheap parlor trick designed to inflate a resume that doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Someone on that roster needs to step up or step aside, because right now, Jordan Tyson is proving that high-volume gambles are no substitute for high-IQ basketball. Stop looking at the stat sheet and start watching the game.
