π° Joe Zvorsky carries the Bullies while league stars are just stat-padding frauds
August 3, 2026
Nobody wants to say it, but Joe Zvorsky is the most important player on the Bullies, and heβs vastly more valuable than the flashy βstarsβ currently hogging the headlines. Letβs be real: while everyone is obsessing over high-volume scorers, Zvorsky is out there doing the dirty work that actually wins games. Averaging 10.6 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.0 APG, and 1.9 SPG, he is the engine that keeps the Bullies afloat. You compare that efficiency to someone like Makai Ortiz-Grayβwho puts up 25.5 PPG but offers almost zero playmaking or defensive disruptionβand itβs clear who actually contributes to winning basketball.
This is embarrassing for the rest of the league: we treat pure scorers like royalty while ignoring elite glue guys. Look at Jeffrey Espinal of the 8 Balls; he scores 20.0 PPG, yet offers a meager 2.2 APG and little else to elevate his teammates. The 8 Balls are in serious trouble and everyone knows it because they lack a multi-dimensional threat like Zvorsky. Someone on that roster needs to step up or step aside, because empty points don't hang banners.
Letβs be honest, Luke Rumbaugh has been a disappointment this season. With 21.7 PPG, his lack of defensive presence compared to Zvorskyβs 1.9 SPG makes him a liability when the game tightens up. Zvorsky impacts the game at every levelβscoring, boards, assists, and stealsβwhile the leagueβs top dogs are just stat-padding. If you want a player who makes his team better, you take Zvorsky over the one-dimensional highlights every single time. Stop chasing the gaudy scoring titles and start looking at the guys who actually know how to play the game.
