đź“° Ty Burton and Makai Ortiz-Gray are stat-padding frauds wasting BAL talent
August 8, 2026
Nobody wants to say it, but we are watching the most complete season in BAL history, and it isn't coming from a high-volume gunner. While everyone drools over Ty Burton’s empty 35.5 PPG, Eli Washington is playing actual winning basketball. With 20.0 PPG, 5.8 APG, and 2.2 SPG, Washington is doing everything that matters. Let’s be real: Burton is a glorified highlight reel for the Gremlins, while Washington is the engine of a championship pedigree. If you want a stat-padder, look at the bottom of the scoreboard; if you want a winner, look at the Dragons.
Let’s call out the frauds while we’re at it. Makai Ortiz-Gray has been a total disappointment this season—25.5 points but a black hole that provides nothing else to the Titans' struggling offense. Meanwhile, the Titans are in serious trouble and everyone knows it; they are wasting talent while Washington continues to elevate everyone on the floor. It is embarrassing to watch these so-called “scorers” play selfish ball when Eli is out there proving that efficiency and playmaking actually win trophies.
Someone on those rosters needs to step up or step aside because the disparity in basketball IQ is glaring. While people debate who is the "best," Washington is quietly dominating the steal charts and leading the league in assists. This is not a debate anymore. You can keep your 30-point games and your losses. I’ll take the player who actually impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Eli Washington isn't just having the best season in BAL history; he’s exposing the rest of the league for exactly what they are—overhyped, one-dimensional liabilities.
