π° Jared Kumah is a glorified stat-stuffer killing the Bullies championship window
September 6, 2026
Nobody wants to say it, but Jared Kumah is the most overrated force in the BAL. While the box score junkies drool over his 23.7 PPG and 10.2 RPG, letβs be real: heβs an empty-calorie giant who doesnβt move the needle when it actually matters. You look at his 1.2 APG and you see a black hole. Heβs putting up stats on a Bullies squad that is in serious trouble, and frankly, everyone knows it.
Compare him to Justin Baker 2.0. Baker is putting up 19.6 PPG, but crucially, heβs facilitating the offense with 4.8 APG. Kumahβs refusal to involve his teammates makes the Bullies stagnant and predictable. This is embarrassing for a supposed star. While Kumah is busy padding his rebound totals, heβs nowhere to be found in the leagueβs top five for assists or steals. Heβs a relic of a bygone era, clogging the paint while superior, modern players like Ty Burton (30.6 PPG) and Eli Washington (5.9 APG) run circles around him in efficiency and actual impact.
Letβs be honest, Jared Kumah is a liability masquerading as a franchise cornerstone. If youβre building a championship contender, you donβt build around a guy who offers less playmaking than a stationary screen. The Bullies have a roster full of pieces that could compete, but as long as theyβre forcing the ball into Kumahβs vacuum, theyβre going nowhere fast. Someone on that roster needs to step up or step aside, because betting on Kumah to carry you to a title is a foolβs errand. The numbers don't lieβheβs just a glorified stat-stuffer.
