π° Jordan Tyson is an offensive black hole sabotaging the Cherrypickers championship run
September 7, 2026
Nobody wants to say it, but Jordan Tyson is the biggest anchor dragging down the Cherrypickers this season. Letβs be real: while heβs chasing steals like a man possessed, his 10.5 PPG is pathetic for a primary rotation piece. You look at guys like Ty Burton dropping 30.6 a night or even his own teammate Justin Baker 2.0 putting up nearly double the production at 19.6 PPG, and itβs clear Tyson is just taking up space. This is embarrassing. You canβt build a contender on 2.7 SPG if your offense is essentially a black hole.
The Cherrypickers are in serious trouble and everyone knows it. When your secondary options provide zero gravity, youβre basically asking Baker to play five-on-one every single possession. Itβs an insult to the competitive standard of the BAL. While Tyson is focused on padding his defensive stats, the rest of the leagueβs top-tier scorers are actively winning games. You compare his impact to someone like Eli Washington, who contributes across the board, and Tyson looks like a hobbyist playing in a proβs league.
Someone on that roster needs to step up or step aside because this "defensive specialist" act is getting stale. If Tyson thinks heβs providing value while the scoreboard stays frozen whenever he touches the ball, heβs delusional. Either learn to put the ball in the hoop with some consistency or clear out your locker. The Cherrypickers aren't going anywhere in the standings until Tyson starts pulling his weight on the offensive end, and frankly, I don't think he has it in him. Stop the highlight-reel steals and start playing actual basketball.
