π° Evan Baker exposes Ajani Simmons as a fraud while Bullies surpass Tropics
September 14, 2026
Monday, September 14, 2026. Letβs be real: Evan Baker is the most underrated perimeter threat in the BAL, and itβs time we stop pretending otherwise. While everyone loses their minds over Ty Burtonβs 30.6 PPG, Baker is quietly drilling 3.8 triples per game. If he keeps this pace, the Bullies arenβt just a playoff team; theyβre the team nobody wants to draw in the first round. Someone on that roster needs to step up and realize that Baker is the engine, not just a bystander to Jared Kumahβs interior production.
Nobody wants to say it, but the Lanc Show are in serious trouble and everyone knows it. Ajani Simmons is supposed to be a top-tier facilitator, but averaging 4.9 APG while shooting sub-par compared to Bakerβs efficiency is a bad look. Letβs be honest, Simmons has been a disappointment this seasonβheβs flashy, sure, but heβs a liability when the game slows down. Compare that to Bakerβs 1.0 SPG and his consistent floor spacing; Baker is playing winning basketball, while Simmons is playing for the highlights.
This is embarrassing, but Iβm calling it now: The Tropics are going to flame out early, despite Ethan Benneβs MVP pedigree. You canβt rely on a 30-point scoring load every single night without a balanced supporting cast. Mark my words: By the end of the month, the Bullies will have a better winning percentage than the Tropics. Itβs a bold take that will either age beautifully or leave me looking like a fool, but Iβd rather be loud and wrong than quiet and mediocre. Someone on these struggling rosters needs to step up or step aside.
