⚾ 8 Balls Demolish Cherrypickers as Swantner Dominates and Dragons Remain Undefeated

Season 4 · Week 2 · September 23, 2026

September 25, 2026
The BWAL is officially a bloodbath, and Week 2 of Season 4 proved it! The 8 Balls are showing why they’re the team to beat, absolutely demolishing the Titans with a jaw-dropping 16-5 victory. While Nate Adams and Johnny Besecker put up decent numbers for the Titans, their pitching, especially Liam Besecker's 13 walks, was an unmitigated disaster. The 8 Balls, on the other hand, saw Ronnie Swantner and Cam Barto absolutely mash with multiple RBIs and home runs. Meanwhile, the Dragons are the only undefeated team left, clinging to a 7-5 win over the Cherrypickers. Erik Goldbach and Gavin Gilhool were clutch for the Dragons, but KJ Myers and Ross Conway showed flashes of brilliance for the Cherrypickers before ultimately falling apart. The Cherrypickers’ pitching staff, particularly Ian Campbell, needs a serious intervention. Ten walks in two innings? Please. So, who’s the MVP of Week 2? It’s gotta be **Ronnie Swantner** of the 8 Balls. Not only did he go 2-4 with a homer and 4 RBI, but he also pitched 5 solid innings and walked an absurd 9 batters at the plate. This man is a wiffle ball god! The Dragons hold the top spot at 2-0, but the 8 Balls and Titans are right behind them at 1-1, while the Cherrypickers are looking like early season disappointments at 0-2. Get ready, folks, this season is going to be WILD.
