π° Ty Burton is a stat-padding fraud while Jordan Tyson runs the BAL
August 28, 2026
Nobody wants to say it, but we are watching the most underrated individual performance in BAL history, and itβs time to stop ignoring Jordan Tyson. While everyone drools over the high-scoring stat padders, Tyson is out here playing elite basketball with 2.2 steals per game. Letβs be real: Tyson provides more value to the Cherrypickers with defensive tenacity than Ty Burton does by simply chucking shots at the rim. If you arenβt crowning Tyson as the most efficient perimeter terror in the league, youβre just not watching the game.
Letβs be honest, Ty Burton has been a disappointment this season. Sure, he averages 35.5 PPG, but heβs essentially a one-man wrecking crew for a Gremlins squad that doesn't play a lick of defense. Itβs embarrassing. Meanwhile, guys like Makai Ortiz-Gray are getting hype despite doing nothing but scoring, while Tyson is actively dismantling opposing offenses every single possession. If you want to win, you take the guy who shuts down the other team, not the guy who just pads his box score in a blowout loss.
The Gremlins are in serious trouble and everyone knows it; relying solely on volume scoring is a recipe for an early exit. Someone on that roster needs to step up or step aside because they are currently a laughingstock compared to the defensive standard Tyson has set. If you honestly think a high-volume scorer like Justin Baker 2.0 or an offensive specialist like Makai Ortiz-Gray deserves more recognition than a lockdown artist like Tyson, youβre part of the problem. Put some respect on the name. Tyson is the real MVP of this leagueβs culture.
