π° Eli Washington is the BALβs best player and your favorite stars suck
August 30, 2026
Nobody wants to say it, but we are watching the most underrated campaign in BAL history, and itβs time to stop ignoring Eli Washington. While everyone drools over the raw scoring totals of Ty Burton, theyβre missing the point: basketball is about winning, and Washington is the engine of the Dragons. Putting up 20.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.9 assists while anchoring the perimeter defense with 2.0 steals is a masterclass in two-way dominance. He isn't just padding stats; heβs playing winning basketball.
Letβs be real, compared to the likes of Ajani Simmons, who is putting up similar scoring numbers but offering far less in terms of defensive tenacity and playmaking, Washington is on another level. And don't even get me started on Luke Rumbaugh; heβs a pure scorer with zero versatility, whereas Washington is effectively the leagueβs premier Swiss Army knife. If youβre building a franchise today, choosing any of these secondary stars over Washington is just malpractice.
This is embarrassing for the rest of the league. How is a player with 3.0 triples per game and top-tier assist numbers constantly relegated to the background? The Lanc Show are in serious trouble and everyone knows itβthey lack the floor generalship that Washington provides nightly. Someone on that roster needs to step up or step aside because while theyβre busy chasing highlights, Eli Washington is busy proving heβs the best all-around athlete in the BAL. Open your eyes.
